Tisserin...

...where structural engineering meets sustainability

About Us

Tisserin Engineers are an emerging structural and civil engineering practice who believe in creating great buildings while reducing waste within the construction industry. We do this by focusing on low carbon and sustainable designs; close collaboration with our design partners; focusing on the client; and teaching and mentoring the next generation of architects and engineers.

Our experience and holistic approach to design means we can contribute and add value at every stage of the design process, from pre-planning advice and community engagement, to modelling and fabrication drawings within a BIM Level 2 environment.

Testimonials

Don’t take our word for it…

Tisserin has worked with Solidspace as consultant structural and civil engineers on two significant projects for our company – a commercial/community project and a residential scheme.

They embrace innovative thinking and always push our designs to provide the optimal structural solution that supports our Solidspace split-level brand.

I can highly recommend Tisserin as they demonstrate flexibility, thoroughness and good value for money.
Tisserin have been faultless in their approach to this project. Given the cost constraints for what is an imaginative and innovative new development using Cross Laminated Timber, finding an experienced engineer who is able to consult on approaches has been virtually impossible. Tisserin have worked with me throughout the process to explain various options that would reduce costs. They have liaised with contractors to explain their rationale. They have acted above and beyond my expectations by being thorough and giving extreme attention to detail with regard to frame and roof of the new building working tirelessly to ‘get things right’.
