...where structural engineering meets sustainability
Tisserin Engineers are an emerging structural and civil engineering practice who believe in creating great buildings while reducing waste within the construction industry. We do this by focusing on low carbon and sustainable designs; close collaboration with our design partners; focusing on the client; and teaching and mentoring the next generation of architects and engineers.
Our experience and holistic approach to design means we can contribute and add value at every stage of the design process, from pre-planning advice and community engagement, to modelling and fabrication drawings within a BIM Level 2 environment.

Since graduating from the Silesian University of Technology in Poland, Ania has gained fifteen years’ experience across a wide range of projects and materials, from high-profile commercial buildings to family home refurbishments. With her keen interest in architecture and ability to engage with clients and the design team, Ania enjoys collaborative aspects of the design process and problem solving. In recent years, Ania’s focus on innovative solutions in smaller-scale projects has allowed her to hone her understanding of individual needs, alongside the overall architectural vision, leading to more creative engineering solutions.
In the four years Effiom has been immersed in the industry since attaining his Masters, his aptitude has developed through the application of design principles on paper, as well as discussing solutions at all stages of the construction process. This has allowed Effiom to manage various projects, from £2m developments to extensive vibration-sensitive external works and extensions to steel frame structures in the South and South East. His strong stakeholder engagement continues to both establish and build on relationships throughout the industry. Effiom’s ability to deliver robust solutions is a key asset for Tisserin.
