After winning the competition run by Aberdeen's Remembering Together Project to design a memorial to remember those who died during the Covid pandemic, George King Architects asked Tisserin to design the stone supports of the cairn.

George King Architects' design is based on a traditional Scottish cairn, using upcycled granite from Aberdeen tenement stock. Each stone will have lines engraved on the rear face from a newly commissioned poem from a local artist.
