Studio Gil and Material Cultures urban community garden opened in June as a fine example of cutting edge sustainable design with buildings constructed of straw bales, clay and reclaimed materials. All the materials were sourced locally and show Wolves Lane Centre’s deep commitment to community participation and circular economy principles.
The project has been featured in the Architects’ Journal, Building Design and Wallpaper* magazines.
